Panagiotis Malataras is Electrical and Computer Engineer with a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He is researcher in the Medical Physics department at Patras’ University, Greece and member of the board of Institute of Biomedical Technology (INBIT), Greece.
He is active the last 20 years in the field of Biomedical Technology with emphasis in the subfields of Medical Equipment Management Software and Biomedical Engineering Education, Hospital Construction, Medical Technology Assessment and Patient Safety. He has participated and coordinated RD European projects in those fields. He is author in more than 20 publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
